अगस्त महीने में आठ कोर सेक्टर्स की विकास दर रिपोर्ट में बड़ी गिरावट दर्ज की गई है. अगस्त महीने में 8 कोर सेक्टर्स की ग्रोथ घटकर 0.5 फीसदी पर आ गई है. जबकि जुलाई महीने में यह ग्रोथ 2.1 फीसदी थी. वहीं अगस्त 2018 में आठ कोर सेक्टर्स की विकास दर 4.7 फीसदी थी.
अर्थव्यवस्था को झटका
दरअसल पिछले अगस्त की तुलना में इस साल आठ कोर सेक्टर्स की विकास दर में करीब 90 फीसदी की गिरावट दर्ज की गई है. मोदी सरकार के लिए यह एक बड़ा झटका है.
दरअसल, तमाम कोशिशों के बावजूद उद्योगों की वृद्धि दर में रफ्तार नहीं पकड़ पा रही है. जुलाई में आठ कोर सेक्टर की विकास 2.1 फीसदी थी, जिससे एक उम्मीद जगी थी कि आगे सुधार देखने को मिलेगी. लेकिन अब अगस्त के आंकड़ों ने अर्थव्यवस्था को झकझोर दिया है.
कच्चे तेल की कीमत में उछाल एक बड़ी वजह
इससे पहले जून महीने में 8 प्रमुख उद्योगों की ग्रोथ घटकर 0.2 फीसदी रही थी. कोर सेक्टर में गिरावट की अहम वजह ऑयल के दाम में उछाल और सीमेंट उत्पादन में भारी सुस्ती बताई गई थी.
आठ प्रमुख उद्योग में कोयला, क्रूड, ऑयल, नेचुरल गैस, रिफाइनरी प्रोडक्ट्स, फर्टिलाइजर्स, स्टील, सीमेंट और इलेक्ट्रिसिटी आते हैं. इनकी भारत के कुल इंडस्ट्रियल आउटपुट (औद्योगिक उत्पादन) में करीब 40 फीसद हिस्सेदारी होती है.
